Karl Lagerfeld created four exclusive shoe styles for the Brazilian Label Melissa. The plastic shoes are a hommage to the Brazilian sense of life. The model is none other than Cara Delevigne.

Once Upon a Time ...

Karl Lagerfeld once again delighted: For the 2013/14 Cruise collection which will be presented in Singapore on May 9th 2013 the designer wrote and directed the short film "Once Upon a Time". He recounts the early days of Gabrielle Chanel (Keira Knightley) when she opened with her Aunt Adrienne (Clotilde Hesme) her first fashion boutique in Deauville in 1913.

Philip Treacy take his hat off to Vienna

With the exhibition "All that glitter is gold" the famous hats of the Irishman Philip Treacy can be seen at Swarovski (Kärntner Straße 24) for a total of one year. His homage to Empress Elisabeth: a theatrical veil hat. It recalled that Sisi was always veiled after the suicide of her son. He loves this type of glamorous suffering. "In Vienna the death is very glamorous." But Treacy himself never wears a hat: "Karl Lagerfeld also doesn't wear women's clothes."
